ELECTRIC FREEWAY EXPANDS ITS OFFERING IN NORWAY AND DENMARK

Electric Freeway AS is now offering their EV charging services in Norway and Denmark, and the company is building an organization in Norway and internationally.

The company has also recently entered into an agreement with a major player in Denmark and is now setting up its services to quickly enter the Danish charging market which is growing rapidly.

Danish version of Electric Freeway SmartCharge, charging platform and operation including payment services etc. is under construction and will be in production in early October.

ELECTRIC FREEWAY CERTIFIED CHARGERS

When we establish SmartCharge as a charging platform in a charging facility, it is important that the individual charging box can communicate flawlessly with our system.

SmartCharge uses the International Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) to communicate with the charging boxes.

There are some 'dialects' of OCPP, and to avoid unforeseen errors and problems in production, we test all relevant charging boxes against our system before integrating them into the charging facilities.

Here you will find an overview of manufacturers of charging boxes that as of September 2021 are certified for use with SmartCharge.

Electric Freeway is a partner and reseller for Current Eco AS and will be selling and operating the charging platform SmartCharge in the markets Electric Freeway operates in.

SmartCharge, one of the market leaders in charging systems for the international market, has been developed by Current Eco, a Norwegian technology company since 2014 and contains a full charging platform for operation, management, and support of all types of small and large charging facilities.

The solution is marketed as Electric Freeway SmartCharge and will include Electric Freeway's services for frictionless delivery, operation, and management of charging services.
